In July of 1987, Dr. King began his practice in China Grove, NC. He has been seeing patients from here and the surrounding areas for more than 30 years. In 2013 he was presented the John D. Robinson Clinical Excellence Award by the North Carolina Optometric Society.

His professional responsibilities include the following:

Outside of the office, Dr. King has traveled to Guatemala on many mission trips. He is an accomplished vocalist and guitarist as well as seven time finisher of the Ironman Triathlon in Panama City, Florida. Dr. King and his wife Susan have four children and three grandchildren.

Julie has been working with Dr. King since 1988.  She loves photography and going to the beach with family and friends.

Teresa has worked with Dr. King since 1997.  Her favorite place is the beach.  She has 4 grandchildren, 2 dogs, and a cat that she adores.

Tisha has been working at King Eye Center since 2005.  She enjoys spending time with her 4 children and her husband.  Her favorite place to go is Disney World.

Leslie has worked at King Eye Center since May of 2011.  She enjoys traveling, mission trips, and photography.

Teresa joined King Eye Center in August, 2014. She enjoys singing, reading, and taking care of her family.
